Description: What were witch trials in early modern Europe really like? Why was King James VI obsessed with the supernatural? Join us for a drop-in class exploring the Scottish witch craze of the 16th-18th centuries, including a reading of some actual testimonials and court transcripts! We’ll follow-up with an open discussion of the legacy and implication of the trials today.
