Shipwrecks, lost twins, gender swaps, a love triangle, and some fantastic yellow tights – what more could you possibly want from a Shakespearean comedy?
Join instructor Juliana Finch for a fun, low-stakes community table read of Twelfth Night on December 13th. We’ll have a brief intro discussion with some tips from the theater, then grab drinks and divvy up the roles to read out loud together. After each act, we’ll do a quick breakdown of the scenes so everyone can follow along.
No acting experience or Shakespearean expertise necessary. Reading aloud is optional – absolutely no pressure if you just want to listen and enjoy!
Here’s the script we’ll be using: https://shakespeare.mit.edu/twelfth_night/full.html
