Ekphrasis means “description” in Greek, and ekphrastic poems are often vivid descriptions of works of art. Join poet-curator Jameela F. Dallis to write ekphrastic poems inspired by art you love. Through grounding, guided reflections, and writing prompts, you'll respond to works of art and leave with a new poem or more. Discussion and sharing are encouraged. No prior poetry experience or advanced preparation necessary.
