Fall Fundraiser Teach-In: Ecology and Disability [Online]

from $0.00
sold out

This is a FREE one-session teach-in designed to generate community and share Night School’s mission with curious people. If you would like to offer financial support to our project, please make a tax-deductible donation to our 2024 scholarship fundraiser!

Ecology and Disability

Instructor: Jaime Madden

Sunday, August 25, 2-4 PM ET

ONLINE

What if “disabled community” is not just made up of humans, but also includes bodies of land and water and nonhuman animals? Join us for this teach-in. We'll take seriously the language of “impaired waters,” “sickly seas,” and “dying forests” and we’ll work to understand disability beyond the human. Optional reading; no preparation necessary.

—

These are one-time, synchronous opportunities to join us and learn in community. Teach-ins will not be recorded.

We have provided options to donate $10 or $25 as part of the registration process in order to make it easier to donate. Donations made through our website as part of the registration process are non-refundable and are not tax-deductible. For donations to be tax-deductible, they must be made here.
